Assistant Accompanist/Vocal Coach

Guy Bowering, Jr. maintains an active musical schedule as an accompanist and church musician. He has accompanied for prominent vocalists and instrumentalists in a variety of performance settings including auditions, master classes, and recitals. His accompanying credits include Blood Brothers, The King and I, Pagliacci, The Marriage of Figaro, Tosca, Les Miserables, and most recently a production of Aida (Elton John and Tim Rice's version) where he also made his conducting debut. Currently, Mr. Bowering teaches English at Long Beach High School and is the musical director for Tropical Wave, Long Beach's award-winning show choir. This will be Mr. Bowering's first professional collaboration with Opera Longview, and he is incredibly excited to be associated with such a wonderful company!
