Chorus Rehearsal Accompanist

Judy Owens has served as the staff accompanist for Kilgore College for many years. This marks her first collaboration with Opera Longview. She has received degrees in music from Samford University and North Texas State University. Ms. Owens currently operates her own piano studio in Longview, TX, has been the pianist for the Longview Symphony Orchestra since 1986, and is an active adjudicator throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Judy Owens has also served as the pianist for First Baptist Church, Longview, TX since 1989. She is married to Terry Owens and has one son, Byron.
